With all of that being said, the Rotaract club at the University of Texas at Austin is a fun-loving group that values service, leadership, and networking. Our meetings our about an hour long, have FREE FOOD, and usually a speaker from one of our neighboring Rotary Clubs. They take place biweekly (every two weeks). Our service projects can be anything from cleaning up Austin parks to helping package food to be sent to a country in need. If you want more information, you can find our contact information on the Get Involved page.

The Rotaract Club of the University of Texas at Austin is the university chapter of Rotary International. We are sponsored by the Austin University Area Rotary Club.

We go by Rotary International's motto: Service Above Self. We take pride in being of service here in the Austin area, but also in the greater world. With this in mind we hope to help create the world's future leaders through our service.

According to Rotary International,

"Rotaract brings together people ages 18-30 in universities and communities worldwide to organize service activities, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun. Rotary clubs sponsor them, but Rotaract members manage and fund their clubs independently. Rotaract members work closely with their local Rotary club, and may join after their Rotaract membership ends."
